black raspberries

We are living with my parents right now, waiting to move into our new house.  We are all trying to make the best of it, and to be honest, the kids are loving it.  It's the house I grew up in, so I've been showing Max all the places I used to go.  We went to the playground at my old elementary school.  Some of the old equipment is still there- monkey bars I would climb and sit on with my friends and talk about boys.  We played until John found a patch of rogue black raspberries and a pathway to a sunny little picnic area.  I think the kids ate their weight in berries.
