One of my first posts on this blog was upholstering some folding chairs for our dining table. I love those chairs. But they aren't very stable. Especially for a 2.5 year old who likes to climb on them.
Luckily I inherited some old family chairs. I mean old, early 1900s chairs. My parents had the frames repaired for my birthday, so I just had to do the fun upholstery part!
I don't have a good before picture of the chairs, I wish I did because they have come a long way! But here are four of the needlepoint cushions that were on them. Can you even image how long those took to make??
And a picture montage of the upholstery, I wish I had some cool 80s montage music to go along with them.
Finished product!
I used some Heather Ross fabric, I love how sweet and vintage looking her designs are.
I have dining chairs!
