Another one of our advent activities was to 'deck the halls'. We put some more soft ornaments on the tree- all my pretty glass globes are still safely tucked away in storage. We took out our teeny ceramic light tree, another tradition in my family. I remember staring at it and turning the tiny light bulbs just like Max is doing.
I wanted something new, so I made a Merry Christmas banner. I just can't get enough of buntings/banners. I cut out the letters free hand- it may not be perfect but I like that homemade look.
