two sheets and a pie

I made a pie from scratch!  We got some rhubarb straight from the garden, so naturally...a strawberry rhubarb pie.  I followed the recipe from Smitten Kitchen, my new go-to recipe site.  It is very yummy.  Max kept saying "apple pie!" and could not be convinced it was not.  But he did say "rhubarb" and ate more of that than the strawberries.  The recipe called for "decorative slits" and "decorative crimping", not sure I mastered that, but there is always next time.

I also finished a couple sheets for the bassinet the baby will be sleeping in at first.  We have Max's old crib, but since his bedroom is so tiny we are going to wait to set it up for a couple months.  We'll just use this borrowed one since it is small and has wheels letting us roll it in our room, living room, Max's room, etc.

Both made from some large vintage sheets I've collected.  This one is cream with yellow flowers.

And yellow with green, yellow, and pink flowers.
